UNDERGRADUATE $1,000 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

 

Requirements for National Undergraduate Scholarship Award:

1.      Applicants must be minority students in their first, second, third, or fourth year enrolled full-time in an accredited undergraduate business or management program at the time of award working toward a bachelor degree in the Pittsburgh and surrounding area.

2.      Applicants must submit a two-page, double-spaced, type-written essay in response to the following topic:   Please explain the importance of a higher education in today's economy and from a personal development perspective.  Provide a solution to the African American  high school drop out rate in the city of Pittsburgh.

3.      Applicants must submit an official stamped high school, and if applicable, college transcript with their application.

4.      A completed application, two-page essay, official transcript, brief biography and 4” x 6” photo must be postmarked by July 31, 2009  and submitted to:
