Pittsburgh Chapter 2011 Scholarship Program Selection Process and Payment Process

Selection of Recipients

Scholarship recipients are selected based on eligibility criteria and requirements indicated for applicable scholarship.  A "Selection Committee" of the Pittsburgh Chapter makes selections for all scholarships except for those indicated on applicable scholarship information.  

Awards will be announced on the Pittsburgh Chapter website no later than July 25, 2011 for scholarship recipients selected by the Pittsburgh Chapter.  Formal letters will be sent to all applicants by August 1, 2011.  All other scholarship selections and notifications will occur as indicated on applicable scholarship information.

Students may apply for our scholarships each year they meet eligibility criteria and requirements indicated for applicable scholarship.

The Pittsburgh Chapter will notify applicants at the home address provided.  Students selected to receive scholarships, must return their completed Student Acceptance Form by August 13, 2011.  Failure to do so, will forfeit their scholarship.

Payment of Scholarship

Payment is made directly to each scholarship recipient's school by the end of October, 2010 and is made payable to the school for the student.

Revisions

The Pittsburgh Chapter reserves the right to make changes to requirements, processes, and other details of the Scholarship Program for scholarships controlled by the Chapter - these changes can occur at any time.
