Roundtable Events

Workshop focused on the key areas of professional development for local professionals. Attendees have the opportunity to learn more about their specific interests to assist them in making calculated career decisions. The potential topics for these workshops are Corporate Climate, Diversity in the Workplace, How to build Upon an Entrepreneurial Idea, Making the Leap into Management, and How to use Mentoring and Relationships to have a successful career.

Provides members and corporate representatives an opportunity to relax and network after a busy workday.

Professional development series - leadership events provide professionals opportunities to network and gain information on leadership trends and experiences.

Entrepreneur Workshop Series

Entrepreneurs will have the ability to network and offer corporations an opportunity to solicit African-American business owners for vendor contracts. This will be an ideal way for companies that are interested in working with minority firms to meet new vendors.

Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT)

A mentoring program, which provides resources to high school students who have leadership potential, but need exposure and motivation in order to make good choices about college, their careers, and their futures.

Scholarship Program

Awards scholarships annually to high school seniors, undergraduates and graduate students.  Recipients are selected based on one or more of the following: written responses to an essay topic, level of community involvement and extra-curricular activity, grade point average and interview score.  Awardees are honored at the Annual Scholarship and Recognition Gala.
