Professional development, industry insight, networking, and gain strategic information from established business executives and senior managers in the Pittsburgh Region that could be instrumental in career and business development.  

Workshop focused on the key areas of professional development for local professionals. Attendees have the opportunity to learn more about their specific interests to assist them in making calculated career decisions. The potential topics for these workshops are Corporate Climate, Diversity in the Workplace, How to build Upon an Entrepreneurial Idea, Making the Leap into Management, and How to use Mentoring and Relationships to have a successful career. 

Entrepreneurs will have the ability to network and offer corporations an opportunity to solicit African-American business owners for vendor contracts. This will be an ideal way for companies that are interested in working with minority firms to meet new vendors.

A mentoring program, which provides resources to high school students who have leadership potential, but need exposure and motivation in order to make good choices about college, their careers, and their futures.

Awards scholarships annually to high school seniors, undergraduates and graduate students.  Recipients are selected based on one or more of the following: written responses to an essay topic, level of community involvement and extra-curricular activity, grade point average and interview score.  Awardees are honored at the Annual Scholarship and Recognition Gala.

Recognize Scholarship Recipients and Leaders of Tomorrow students.  In addition,  Chapter members, partners, individuals in education and business are recognized.
