A two time graduate of The University of Tennessee – Knoxville, Tina earned a bachelors degree in Political Science and a Master of Science in Continuing Higher Education. She is currently the Director of Human Resources for Glade Run Lutheran Services a human services agency that serves at-risk children ages 6 to 18 through residential treatment, group homes, and St. Stephen’s Lutheran Academy, a private licensed school located in Zelienople, PA. Agency services are also provided to more than 1,800 individuals and families each year from offices in Butler, Beaver Falls and Pittsburgh. Tina is responsible for managing all aspects of Human Resources functions/services for more than 500 employees in four locations. 

Prior to serving at Glade Run Lutheran Services Tina was Director of Human Resources for Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania for 13+ years overseeing the HR function for 950+ employees in over 50 locations. Her career encompasses past positions in for profit as well as not-for-profit environments. Her work history includes positions with organizations such as The Urban League of Memphis, The Girls Club of Memphis, Jobs for Tennessee Graduates/Youth and American National Can, a Fortune 50 company. 

Certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources, Tina has distinguished herself as a leader who is knowledgeable and respected in the Pittsburgh Human Resources Community. She was elected and served as the 2007 President of the Pittsburgh Human Resources Association a premier human resources organization with more than 1300 members. 

Tina is certified as a Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) by the Center for Credentialing and Education. As a GCDF Tina helps people meet career goals by providing career facilitation and guidance. She works alongside professionals with extensive training in government, employment agencies, schools, universities, corporate human resources departments, private consultancy firms, and many other settings. 

In addition to her role as Education Director with the NBMBAA Pittsburgh Chapter, Tina serves in several other volunteer capacities. Currently she holds the position of Director of Workforce Readiness for the Pennsylvania State Council an affiliate of the Society for Human Resources Management. She was recently elected to the position of President of the Pittsburgh Association of Human Resource Professionals, an African American Human Resource organization. She also serves as a member of the Human Resources Committee for Pittsburgh Cares. 

Traveling, cooking, music and chess are just a few of her interests. A proud aunt of 5 nieces and nephews, Tina resides in McCandless Township.
