Davie S. Huddleston, VP, Human Resources, is the current Director of Strategic College Recruiting for the PNC Financial Services Group. He is responsible for directing the Corporate-wide strategic planning and implementation of the undergraduate and graduate on-campus recruiting efforts and managing the undergraduate and graduate internship programs.
Davie joined PNC in April 1997 as the Human Resource Manager for the Community Banking business of the Consumer Bank.
Prior to joining PNC, Davie was the Human Resource Executive for two of the largest business subsidiaries of the Pittsburgh Mercy Health System.
Davie’s career has included human resource assignments with the Chase Manhattan Bank and Johnson & Johnson. He also taught high school in Pittsburgh’s Baldwin-Whitehall School District. His diversified career also includes over thirteen years of service with the United States Army and Army National Guard. Davie’s military assignments included service as Company Commander in Infantry and Armor Headquarters Companies and senior staff assignments in Army Intelligence. By the end of his Army career Davie had attained the rank of Major, Military Intelligence.
Davie’s education includes a BS in Social Science Education from Indiana University of PA and an MS in Urban Studies from Southern Connecticut State University.
As a committed community activist, Davie currently serves on the boards of: Vice President, PCSI, Inc; RAD Advisory Board; Pittsburgh Association of Human Resource Professionals; President, INROADS North-Central Region; INROADS, Inc. National Advisory Board; Co-Chair Personnel & Programming Committee, Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh Charter School; Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Robert Morris University Employment Advisory Boards; Pgh Chapter NBMBAA Advisory Board; Assistant Treasurer, Pittsburgh Community Services, Inc.; and, at the Mt. Ararat Baptist Church he is the Vice Chair of the Trustee Board and Chair of the Church Expansion Committee.
